Grilled eel

Ingredients:

  • 1 eel, cleaned and filleted
  • 4 bay leaves
  • Coarse salt

First, clean the eel by removing the head, entrails and central bone. Then cut it in half. Leave it to marinate for a couple of hours with the bay leaves and cook it by placing the eel on the grill for at least 15 minutes on each side, seasoning with salt.

When the eel skin is shrunk and nice and crispy and the flesh has taken on a soft consistency, the dish is ready!

NB: serve with a few slices of grilled polenta!
