Roberto Govoni's Farm - L'orto del Guercino

Govoni Roberto's agricultural enterprise was founded in 2000 in Crocetta di Penzale, a hamlet in the municipality of Cento on the family's land. Initially, production is dedicated to horticultural crops such as watermelon, melon and strawberries. Later, it takes the name “L'Orto del Guercino.” With the help of his grandson Gabriele, he also began the production of chain cereals, potatoes, sugar beet, and a good production of pumpkins, especially the Violina variety. The latter, typical of the Ferrara area, is distributed in general markets throughout northern Italy.
Currently, the company's headquarters in Cento is open to the public year-round.
